Keith: On 17 DEC I sent the following request. Any update on the Navionics-Garmin cards?

    12-17-2014 02:22 PMShark Bait II
Kirth: I hesitated to ask for a Navionics card because it will be several months before the boat is back in the water - It is still winter here in Alaska.

Could I get the MSD/GAR-915SC South Alaska card?.

It will be used in a Garmin 7212 and I can compare it to the Garmin G2 Vision card I am now using.

    Please send to:

    hi keith
I have a gramin 7212 system and before this came along used nav chips in all my other units
garmin says it wont work with the "guide to" features of the auto pilot and also the "fish eye" view function of the sonar supported by their g2 chips
would like to try it the nav chips seem too have better mapping details for the for the great lakes
but I use both these features often on my boat would not want to be without it
any input on these functions? I tried a nav platinum chip and it worked great but the fish eye and guide too functions no longer came up on the drop down menu is there some thing I am missing ?

Hi, I'm really interested in this Bathymetric chart for my Garmins. I do a lot of deep dropping in 900' depths and swordfishing in up to 2000', here in South Florida.
I've never found any chart with enough detail out in those depths.
Please let me know if a chip is available to buy or as a beta sample. Or if I can purchase one yet, online or at a marine store.
    I have a Garmin 441S and 50S.
    Thanks, Dave.
