Saw your posts on the hull truth.... looks like you are a blackjack owner... I just bought one last week.. will take delivery next week (first week of May 2011)

Narrowed it to... Yellowfin 24 (thought the 24 was to much boat for me and pricey) and also looked at one year old 22 pathfinders...(most of them were in florida) I decided on a new BJ 224... w/ yami 250...found a new one in NJ close to home... putting goodie package on it right now... power pole, garmin, radio, etc.... I fish shallow and intend to go near off shore in nice weather as well (New Jersey) Are you happy with your boat... what would you change if anything... I was told that the PP should go on the SB side of the boat as transom has more reinforcement there...

Thanks for any input or suggestions.....

I have a 4-stroke Yamaha F250B engine and my max speed is about 57mph.... I run with a 23 prop.... no T-top... I'm not sure about my max RPM's? I would guess 56-5800? I'll run it and will respond with details...

I recently purchased a 2007 Blackjack with an F250 Yamaha engine. Just wondering what size prop and engine you run. Have added a T-top and get around 50-51 mph @ 5900 rpm's with a 21 pitch Mirage pop. Boat came with a 23 Yamaha prop but would turn only 5400 rpm's at about the same speed. I'm curious what your performance numbers look like. Thanks for any info.
