Could you send me some interior photos? Also what condition is the overall fit and finish? Gelcoat, vinyl, corrosion etc... Thanks in advance.

Jon, no problems! You will get it sorted soon. The SMIS manual is a bit vague in some ways, but the setup process is reasonably intuitive.

    Hi Jonathan

Yes, you will need to configure the system before it will work properly.

Easiest way: You can temporarily attach a Suzuki SMIS gauge or Lowrance LMF400 and do the configuration through them. The network will retain the config settings when the SMIS is removed. You need to do the boat setup (2 engines/2tanks or whatever your setup is, name the interfaces to reflect the location (port and star), set each engines up, horsepower, year and location (left, right etc).

Quite easy to do, but can only be done via these gauges or a Navico MFD.

The other option is to take it to local Suzuki dealer (one who knows what they are doing re this stuff) and it can be done via their laptop running the HDS emulator program and special adapter cable..
