Thanks so much for your awesome Scout 195 info!!!

I'm close to buying a 2013 Scout 195 Sportfish with a 115 engine; however, with a family of 5 (12 y.o., and two boys 17 and 18) I'm nervous that the 115 won't be powerful enough - and it's next to impossible to find a 150, and if so, it's much more $$. (e.g., driving around Cape Cod, water skiing, etc.)

    Any advice appreciated!

    Best, Michael

The only way I can describe it is pourosity. It is isolated to certain panels and makes it a major pain to keep clean. Dirt gets into the tiny pours and is almost impossible to get out. This is not the only boat I have seen this on but it definitely is not right. Scout wouldn't do anything for me. It is definitely a manufacturing flaw.

What don't you like about the non skid on your scout? Thank You.
