I'm thinking of replacing all lighting with LEDs and getting some underwater ones as well. I dive, and want to do some night dives as well. I had to replace my Yamaha OX66 250 2-stroke after its maiden voyage last year - don't ask - ugh. But I now have a killer Honda 250 4-stroke that is so sweet.

My two ACC switches run different things - one runs a raw water washdown and the other runs a fresh water pump for the sink/shower. Chances are your other one is simply there for whatever you decide to hook it up to.

So far love my Cobia - for me and my wife as well as my diving buddies, it has SO much room, we have a porta potty, can overnight (though we haven't yet) and just works for us.

Funny - was going to ask you the same! I picked mine up in October last year w 215hours.... it now has 240
only issue was I had to get the steering ram seals replaced this year due to fluid loss.
I changed the halogen flood lights to LED's
I have a question for you, since I cant figure it out - on the switch panel on the helm - the 2 ACC switches - what do they run? it seems like one runs the freshwater pump for the sink and the other doesn't do anything...

I don't. But the company that makes them... is super cool (and hangs out on THT) and should be able to help. Mine generally last a year or two, and then I have to get them. Come to think of it, I think I need to make the call too. LOL.

I am giving a seminar at Hopkin Carter in Miami on chumming techniques, one of the species covered will be mutton snapper. Don't know where you live but it will be pretty comprehensive.

Hi Grey, I am happy to help out.

Basically you need a 25-30 amp charger. Assuming dry mount is ok, the ProTech i 12 40 amp would work here as I have them on sale for $99. You can see it here

If you need waterproof, let me know. Dry mounts last twice as long over waterproof as they are air cooled.

    I did - Sunray Marine, ask for Paul D'Auria - 727-942-7221

Tell him Eric Field told him to call him - I traded the Key West 196 BayReef for credit towards a Honda outboard for my Cobia 250WA - my KW was mint, had tons of add-ons, is totally turn-key, and is just perfectly set up for most anything. Hell, maybe I'll get a finders fee if I help them sell my boat - LOL.

Grey, Didn't you just trade in a KW196? I got a call from a guy looking for one and I have a post about a 196 so he called for information. I have a 196. Could you tell me where you traded your boat, phone # and dealer name and I will pass it on the this guy. Seemed nice and really wants a BR196 so I would like to help him if possible. Thanks
