Let me take a look at my prop setup in the next few days and i will get back to you. The plate you saw on the other boat is to stop water from boiling up over the transom which happens with the 70. I have a 3 blade on mine and have found through experience that you do not need or want a four blade. Also my three blade will turn up to 5500 and doesn't cavitate as much as the four blade. Give me a shout at in a few days and i will send you pics and prop numbers. BTW the Nautico is an amazing boat and will run circles around most CC's up to 25 feet

Good evening to you. I was reading an old thread that you had been involved in concerning an 18 Nautico. I have one. I love it..... when its not cavitating. My boat is in great shape none of the floor transom issues that I keep hearing about. Just cavitation and trying to figure our Prop size. This is an expensive endeavor. I have the Suzuki 70 set up. Currently I have a 13 1/4x15. I am only getting 4600-4800 rpms out of it. That is with lots of cavitation. One thing that I have noticed is that there was a little cowl down by the lower unit on another boat that I saw like this. I am guessing it was for water floe and cavitation. My engine does not have that but does have a place for it. The problem lies in that Suzuki seems to know nothing about this part. Any information that you have about this would be awesome. I would like to pick your brain about this if you ever have time to chat. Thanks in advance.
