I looked at my pics and have a few good long shots with you in them. I would like to send them to you. What is the best way?

    Hi Kevin,
I have Taco outriggers w/Grand Slam 280 mounts (I think they are 280's) through the hardtop. The install required drilling a roughly 3" hole to accommodate the mounts but with the backing plates that come with the mounts it is solid as a rock. I had previously tried the low end Taco mounts (170 series or something like that) but they were not build well enough to drag spreader bars. Defective or bad design if you ask me but either wayTaco took them back and discounted the higher end mounts so I really couldn't complain. If it helps you out I can take some photos, just let me know.

    GH02050,

I was searching the forums, reading up on outriggers ... I've got am '03 2302 with hardtop. I primarily bottom fish, but with access to new water after relocating to a marina vs trailer queen, I want to start trolling more.

As you too have a 2302, where is the best place to mount the outrigger mounts? Wishbones or mount to hardtop? I have a set of 15' telescoping tacos (1.5") I inherited, but no mounts.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    -Kevin.
