That's what I figured. Precisely why I asked beforehand. On it right now.

I recently bought your latches to use on my boat. The catches on two of them are too long. If I cut them to size, will the metals be susceptible to corrosion? I'm unsure if cutting them will cause any sort of chemical reaction in the metals. Don't want to damage these incredible latches.

    Hi

I am building a 31 Renaissance Prowler offshore catarmaran. I need to buy a bunch of blue water rod holders...

2 zeros with swivel and 2 backing plates
    2 zeros non swivel
    16 fifteen degree non swivel
    4 thirty degree non swivel
also need install sockets (can I return when done?)

I have a question regarding your 1469 Seat brackets.

I am looking to replace the seat in the photo attached with a fold down bench seat. Is there a certain thickness needed for the vertical mounting surface, or would I need to install support legs under the seat itself? I will have access from the speaker hole in order to mount backing plates. I guess I am concerned that just the hinges and the plates wont be enough to support the seat and the people on it without the support poles.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the response. I talked to Jerry a few weeks ago and have a new latch! He was very helpful!

We have used some of your friction hinges in certain applications and really like them. Any chance you are working on coming out with piano hinges of the friction variety?

I have latches that I think are Gemlux on an 06 Shearwater. I'd like to replace the rubber o-rings in them but can't find a supplier. I have a picture but don't know how to post it in a P.M.
There are 3 rings, one is 1/16" wide an OD 13/32, ID 5/16, the other two (identical) 1/32" thick, OD 5/16, ID 1/4.
    Thanks for your help!
