    David, mine is manual pump not macerator. Also the problem i was having was not enough flush or backflow from the waste tank. I am assuming your problem is losing prime hence you have to fill the bowl to make it pump, just an idea.

    gcelevator, I saw an old post of yours regarding the marine head. It said you replaced the pump assembly because the head was not drawing (raw) water. I replaced the Vented Loop Solenoid but that didn't help. The pump assembly is about 180 bucks and I am hesitant to purchase and install unless that is for sure the problem. If I manually fill the bowl with the fresh water wash, the macerator will pull the contents out. I am just not getting any water pulled in from the seacock.
