I tried to find you on the barn, my email is phone is 856 904-0041 it's dead right now but will be charged tomorrow. I don't know if we have a problem or not. Tony Athens seems to think so, we've sure had a ton of other problems, I still can't believe the trans. coolers didn't have zincs in them, what year is your boat and do you have zincs in the trans coolers, have you had any turbo or injector problems? I'll look for your return to my email or just call me on Sunday, Thanks a lot for the offer to help, I need some opinions from another 28 owner like yourself. Tight lines, Ron

Not sure how to answer you on this visitor's page but sorry to hear all the trouble. Sucks.

I read your post and now this message but I really can't believe your issue is anything to do with the exhaust system. I never had any problems and am surprised you are. There could be issues of some rust possibly getting to the turbos but with so few hours, I doubt it. Do your turbos freeze up? Are they frozen and immovable? What about a good soaking in some lube WD or Lqd Wrench, etc. I'd think/hope, once you free them up, you're good.

If you're short handed and need help, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to spin down and spend a day or whatever helping you out, being a 2nd set of hands for you, whatever you need.

Before I forget, be sure to change ALL the zincs out. Not easy to catch/see them all but with some time you'll get them.

Good luck and hoping for the best.

Have you had any of these issues with your 28 Henriques? Have you ever had a problem with the riser and exhaust height? If we have to change that that's going to be $2500 for each engine, if I use Athens, it might be less since these are 4 cylinders, but that's what my friends 6 cylinders cost him. Henriques absolutely insist this is not an issue on their 28 fter. I was up there, I looked hard at that system before we bought it. I could put heater pad blocks in to keep the engine room dry and warm. this has been like a nightmare, it's starting up like our Albemarle and I hate the idea of going thru that again. If I have to put expensive exhaust changes in it, I'm done with boats. Hope your having better luck. Ron
