    Hi CaptSam,
I have an issue with the wool pads. I just bought two wool pads for the shurhold polisher and the white covering on the underside of the pad that velcros to the polisher completely ripped off. I have a two pack but didn;t use the second one. I also have the orange foam pad and decided to use that with buff magic. Is this normal with wool pads? I only got to half of the side of the boat before it ripped off. Obviously the wool then got all caught up on the velcro part of the polisher. I have the Dual Action Pro Polisher and was using the wool with buff magic just as the video shows on the website. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi CaptSam,
I know you must be tired of answering this question but I am looking to purchase a polisher. Rotary is out. I am looking for a polisher to wax the outside and inside of my boat. I have a 23' CC that is white hull. Built in 2001. It does not have heavy oxidation but I notice when I rub my hand on the side it's chalky and white residue on my hands. I usually wax once a year. What do you recommend as I am a very beginner at using these. Obviously I don't want to damage my gel coat. Also, what is the proper method - polish then wax? My head is spinning from reading all about detailing boats online. Any help and or suggestions you can give me would be appreciated. Also, do all of the the inter changeable pads come with you polishers?

    Thank you,

I have a question about buff magic. I bought it yesterday and used it just as the instructions and videos state. I put on with an electric buffer and it did not and would not buff itself to a shine. I had to manually remove it with a microfiber cloth and it wasn't easy. I actually had to use 3m after to completely remove the haze. I kept watching other videos and reading on it and I just cant get my hull to shine like the rest of the world is doing. It is not heavily oxidized either. I called shurhold and left a message but haven't heard back from the guy who details the company boats themselves. Any help?

Sam..Big Shurhold fan. They ever consider a sleeve to slide on poles that would depree the button to extend poles or get attachments on and off ? My arthritic thumb struggles pushing that pin down.
