I am not going to lie and say I understand how it all works... LOL...

They connected to my Garmin via the NEMA 2000 network but it gets the data from the SMIS as it show the exact same inaccurate information.

    Best of luck to you!

    Hi Brittonv,
    thanks for your answer!

I bought the engines at Outboard Specialities and they will be shipped to Costa Rica and i rig them by myself.

With the twin 250 the best i could get with the old Yamaha Fuel Management Gauges and impeller sensors i got about 1.4 mpg.

I will put SMIS gauges on as the color gauges seem to have issues with fogging, and i can't risk that i am shipping warranty repairs back and forth to Miami to get the 4 gauges without this issue.
I have SMIS gauges on my RB in Italy and i'm used to them, not very beautiful but they do the trick,
but i am considering to get the kit to have the engine data showing on a MFD and buy the cheapes working MFD to use as chart plotter and gauge display.

Hi brittonv,i have a 99 Venture 34 and i am ordering 2 Suzuki DF300AP engines to repower from twin F250.
As i saw that you have the same engines (and probably the same hull with eurotransom) i would like to know what propellers you are turning and how far your engines are apart.

If yiu have performance numbers, i would apreciate to see them too!

    Thanks so much!

    Hey...

If you are looking for a guide on your boat, the only one I have experience with is George Labonte from Edge Sportfishing. He is a well known expert, and is on ESPN radio on Saturdays if you want to check him out. He's also published a few books. When I moved here, I hired him to come out on the boat I rented and taught me how to live bait sails, what to look for, some of the local breaks etc. He was $300. If you're a little farther in your game I'm sure he can go as deep as you need to go. I was at the beginning level with this area and sailfish when I hired him. The guy knows fish for sure.

He also doesn't get into the drama thing which is nice. He has posted sparsely in FS but doesn't use it a lot. His name and reputation speaks for itself.

Ask about their fuel tanks too, until 2009?
