    Hey Backcove, That was probably the most pain-staking part of the job because I would lay the fiberglass and wrap the cloth over the edge but had to tack it with push pins while it dried and then flip the top and overlap it on the other side. I took my time since the edge is the most vulnerable to getting hit and I wanted to be sure that it was well covered.

    The biggest issue was that I used Lowe's EPS or EXS (I can't remember which) and it was stamped with blue ink which separated from the polystyrene and had to be patched. Had I known, I would have sanded the ink off before I started. Everything else held really well and it saved tons of money as opposed to having one vacuum bagged to fit the arc of my frame.

    Good luck, I think it's worth the effort.
