    Hey Ari-

Were you out fishing around Peaked Hill Bar this past weekend? Thought i heard you on the radio Saturday. Last weekend was my first time out tuna fishing since the '05 season- life seems to have gotten in the way. Plenty of bent rods around the north side of crab ledge. Live macks are the ticket.

Hope you had a good season and you're connecting with a lot of fish.

    Hi,
I am also looking at a similar boat. How much are they in the States? I am in Australia. We tend to pay top dollar over here for everything. I am looking at importing one brand new from the US. Thanks for any information or feedback you maybe able give me.

arie, the tuna have been deep on the jigs. 200gram super sardine jigs have been the ticket for us the past 2 weeks. We had 6 fish last Thurs, 3 Sunday, 1 yesterday. Missing several others. Drop to teh bottom, take 5-6 cranks, and do a long sweep jigging style. NOT the speed jigging everyone talks about! Thats whats working for us. Ill be back out Friday. Im bringing pogies so I can set some out, and jig at the same time, c if we can get a couple bigger fish. Keep at it, bites been very good. Use your finder more than worrying about where the boats are!!

I have never used a Saragosa so I can't honestly give an opinion on them but I know alot of people who have had good results and then some who have not. I personally feel that the fish this season are going to be alot tougher to land on spinning tackle than they ever have been. They are going to be almost giants this season. High 60" to low 70" class fish. I will be using an older Stella 10000FA with a 20000 spool, a new Stella 18000SW, and a Van Staal 250 this season.

Hey there, I keep my boat in Marina Bay in Quincy. Its way up in side Boston Harbor. It takes me about an hour to and hour and a half to reach Stellwagon. For you running through the canal will take you about 40-45 minutes and then another hour or so accross capecod bay to stellwagon.
if you got any other questions just ask. My name is Dan.
