Default Need Transducer Help CV51M or GT52HW

I have a Garmin 94sv CHIRP and need a transducer. Is the CV51M a good choice for soft bottom, brackish, shallow water (6 to 30' without much structure) or would the GT52HW (when available) be a better choice? Side imaging and accurate depth readings are my main concerns. Appreciate any input...Thanks.

Hi Johnny. The GT52HW or CV52HW would be a better choice due to the higher frequency of 2D sonar, and the higher frequency of sidescan.

That's great...8.6 ft in the Chessie is a very realistic fishing depth for me. Thanks again.
