Default Furuno TZtouch12 + MCU-002 user interface?

I am planning a setup with:
- Furuno DRS4DL+ Radar
- Furuno TZtouch 12" MFD
- Furuno MCU-002 controller
- Furuno FAP-7002 course computer
- Sat compass
- HRP pump to outboard hydraulics

I am trying to keep the dash really simple but yet functional since it is a small boat.
If I press the Stby/Auto button on the MCU-002 will it leave the joystick as a course control knob?
If not - can it be personalized as such through the TZtouch menu settings?

And second final question:
When the autopilot is switched from the MCU-002 is it easy to access the basic radar controls (gain, clutter, vrm and ebl)?

For me the regular use would be first checking with ebl and/or vrm the position or cross referencing plotter data and then setting a new course.
Is this possible _easily_ and without huge effort with the MCU-002?

(I mean - without swiping, pinching and scrolling first through digitally engineered dataclutter and after your boat sits on a rock in the darkness you are happy that you found your "you don't have to touch these settings, because they are automatic"-sea clutter settings that filtered out a rock next to your boat - which is now sitting next to you.)

Couldn't find any informative videos or writings on such issues. Hopefully you can help me with my prolonged decision to buy the setup.

I'm sorry for the delayed response. I am not intimately familiar with the MCU-002 and FAP-7002. I am trying to get my hands on a combo to test it out.
