No word on any Totalscan Thru-hull transducers as of now. They have the LSS-2 transducers available as a thru-hulls, but they will not have the traditional style sonar element.

Default Available now

Navico has come out with Totalscan thru hull transducers. 000-14259-001 is L/H chirp plus downscan and side scan. I've seen it listed recently on several on-line sellers.

Here are the 2 Totalscan thru hull transducers available from Navico.

000-14259-001
TOTALSCAN L/H THRU HULL SINGLE:
TotalScan thru hull transducer with Low and High CHIRP

000-14257-001
TOTALSCAN M/H THRUHULL SINGLE:
TotalScan thru hull transducer with Medium and High CHIRP

Also available is the all in one 3d structure scan thru hulls. You will still need the 3d module box but now have a one transducer solution.

000-14255-001
STRUCTURESCAN 3D M/H THRUHULL SINGLE:
StructureScan 3D thru hull transducer with Medium and High CHIRP.

000-14254-001
STRUCTURESCAN 3D L/H THRUHULL SINGLE:
StructureScan 3D thru hull transducer with Low and High CHIRP.

Thanks

Default Simrad ducer

Hello, I currently am running a Go9 and am looking at doing an upgrade to a Evo3 9" at the console and a 7" at an upper station. I was told I will need the S5100 hub to use a single transducer then the list of transducers from best to worst was the Airmar B260, Simrad S575M then Simrad S560. Would you agree with this and/or any better options on a transducer? I mainly look for bottom in 25-300ft, occasionally deep drop 1000+.

I would recommend a B265LH if you are primarily bottom fishing in under 300' of water with an occasional deep drop. As long as you have an Evo3 on the boat you would not need the S5100 sounder module for that transducer.

Thank Chris! Just to confirm I can run both screens using only one transducer without the S5100? Thanks for your help.

Yes, both Evo3 screens can share the transducer without adding an S5100 sounder module. You will need to have the screens networked via the Ethernet connection and we recommend that you also connect them via NMEA2000 in addition to fully network the two units together.

I'm looking for some feedback on how this thru hull transducer is working. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm strongly considering purchasing this but would like to know how it is working for people first.
