Jim,
Last year I ordered Lowrance Globalmap 9200C and 7200C with broadband sounder with M260. No radar.
Now I am ready for radar!
What are my options with the new BB Radar?
1. without adding a new display
2. adding 1 more HDS display
Can you list advantages and how it connects and displays?
Thanks
Nick

You need a HDS display for the Broadband Radar. GlobalMap can only use the LRA1800HD and LRA2400HD models (and the old obsolete analog radars)
Here is what I would have done: Buy a HDS with sounder, connect to one of the GlobalMaps using Ethernet. Use the new HDS screen as plotter/radar screen and run the HDS broadband sounder at the GlobalMap. Sell the other GlobalMap and the broadband sounder.
To get gps data from LGC-3000 to HDS for redundancy you also need to connect the HDS to the NMEA 2000 netork.

I really like the bigger M260 Sounder.
Questions.
What is the connection for M260 (removing Broadband sounder) to HDS-7?
Can I share sonor and radar function to the Globalmaps 9200C and 7200C?
Tks nick
