Looking at the manual and online pictures, this unit particular unit has a standard nmea2k connector on the back. You will simply add a cable from there to your existing nmea2k network. Most likely you will need to add a tee. If you have no existing nmea2k network, you will need to create one. The are numerous nmea2k starter kits available. You would need a network power cable, a terminator for each end, and 1 tee. The Garmin should have come with a drop cable and one tee. The tees will be connected together. One drop on the 1st teel will be for the nmea power cable, the 2nd tee will be used with the drop cable and run to the radio, and then a terminator on the end of the tees. The Garmin manual and the Fusion manual both show the basic network diagram.
