Default Lowrance Network Configuration

I have 2 brand new HDS live units and a 3-1 active imaging transducer to install on my boat. I currently have a single HDS Gen2 Touch. with a sonarhub and B175M. Is the sonar hub now obsolete? Does it do any good to keep it?

Thank you
NOJ

Each HDS Live supports up to two distinct chirp transducers, so between the two new Live units you have enough inputs to connect up to four single channel chirp transducers to your system. You can plug B175M on one of the HDS Live, and 3-1 on the other, and connect the Live's through ethernet to share sonar and charts. In this regard the sonarhub is not needed anymore.

I would have kept the SonarHub. I have not checked Live transmit power, but I assume it's the same as Carbon which I've measured to exactly 1kW rms with B175M, SonarHub has more

Not that I see. An 18.3 software update for it was released last week. The website indicates a September release date but 18.3 downloads when selected.

Thank you. Will be interesting to see what the measured transmit power is on a HDS Live 9

SonarHub is not obsolete, I was told when the 18.3 testing started in September that SonarHub would get Active Imaging support. I don't have an AI transducer and it's winter here so I haven't been able to test.

Cool. Thank you. I still have it and an SS3D.

With 2 HDS Live 7 units (a 3-1 active imaging transducer), a sonar hub, b175M, and SS3D 3d transducer. How you you configure? Any of the components you would sell?

Thank you

I have dual NSS12 Evo3, HDS-7 Carbon, Halo24, SS3D, SonarHub, S5100, TM150M, B75H, B175H-W, TM265LH and 83/200kHz HDI and still adding so I'm probably not the person to ask if something should be sold

abbor, to save from having to type so much, it is easier to state what you do not have. (lol)
