Default How to do Waypoint transfer Garmin to Simrad

I just thought I'd share how it's done. No computer programs required.
1. Save your waypoints to a card from your Garmin to an SD (micro card for my Go7) in GPX format. Garmin gives the option of two file types.
2. Load the card into your Simrad unit.
3. Find the Sd card in the "files" section.
4. Drill down the file menu to GARMIN user data.
5. Select import.

HTH,
Scott

Open your file in Homeport which may be in .gpd or .gpx format. Select the file you wish to export and click on 'Export"...
In the next window, open the drop down box to save as file type: Select save as .GPX
