Default Project complete Viking 68'

well i am so proud of this install that i just felt the need to share
this boat sports a full Crestron Entertainment setup. The navigation package is fairly average for what we normally do.

the helm

salon entertainment center

subwoofer veneered to match boat

pop up plasma with speakers installed

rack of electronics for entertainment(i have a finished pic of this somewhere, i will upload it when i find it)

i am working on a new project as well that i am sure Glen E will appreciate. It is a viking 64 with a full Jl Audio system. I will post those when its completed.

WOW, very impressive. Might ask for some advice this winter as I pimp my 31 Bertram while in Philly.

Certainly a very nice set of installations. I wonder about glare off the plexiglass over the screens, plus accessability to knobs, and the ability to reach the controls under the pannels?

the theater can be yours for the low low price of around 100k it is a pretty crazy system for a boat, but it makes using everything so simple. it comes with keypads for each room, and 2 wireless lcd remotes for the salon and master state room. he can access dvd, cd changer, xm, sirius, sat tv, cameras, pc, radar, sounder, and GPS all through the touchscreen lcd remotes. we could have added control of all the climate controls on the boat as well. its amazing how it all integrates.

as far as i have seen, glare really isnt a problem, the hardtop blocks most of the direct sunlight. you have to have the boxes open and the lid for the displays open to get to anything, but that is the price you pay for keeping your electronics out of the elements. you can run with everything open, viking uses pretty strong rams to hold the lids open.
