Question @Abbor Airmar P319

A friend of mine is having a lot of problem reading bottom not more then 100ft with a Simrad EVO2 and the P319.
The 319 is select in the installation menu.
Is there any problem with the EVO2 and the 319?
Thanks for your help.

It should have identical performance to B60 which is very good

Is this when not moving or moving slowly?

I have no experience with P319, but try B60 in the installation menu to make sure a setting which verified is used.

I'm going tomorrow morning to take a look; looks like his not getting any bottom reading. I suspect he didn't choose the right source
Will see tomorrow.
Thanks for your time.

The P319, B117 and B60 all have the same exact element.....so selecting the B60 as abbor suggested is the right approach.

The P319 and B117 could have issues if installed in a deadrise of 8 degrees and more...as they are not tilted elements.

If the P319 is a Xsonic I won't be able to select another transducer like the B60?

If P319 has a Xsonic connector and adapter is needed since the transducer is supposed to be connected to the blue connector.

Only one non-scanning transducer can be connected to Evo2. There is one way around the adapter if a StructureScan transducer is not needed. Connect it to the black connector and select L/H HDI in the installation menu.

Thanks abbor, manage to get some reading using L/H HDI on the 16" but wasn't able to see it on the 12". A adapter cable is coming.
I also suggest that he upgrade his batteries; I suggest using AGM 27 he is actually using RV27 regular and voltage on the 16" is 10.9; he was complaining about the screen not responding so I told him that they are very sensitive voltage wise. He is also running a 4G radar with a Precision-9 and also a GS-25
Could not see the Precision-9 on the network.
Another suggestion that I mentionne is to use another power on the NK-2000 network
