Default garmin/sirus question

got so weird thing going on with two different boats but same issue now..

1st boat has 3 7616xsv and all networked, for some reason if i now go to my channel list for sirius there are no channels if i use the all channel setting, if i go to a genres ,any one of them then i can get a list for those channels but if i go back to all so i can scroll from 1 to whatever there are no channels, all presets are there too. I called garmin after a frustration phone call with sirius and they said since i was on 11.0 software i needed to update and it should fix it. did the update and didnt change anything. then today i took the family to the beach in a separate boat with a single 7616 and it it is doing the exact same thing, now both boats worked fine previously , the first one as little as a couple weeks ago, the other i hadn't run in a few months but it was working fine when last used.

i went all through the menus and cant seem to find anything that could do this.

anyone ever see this before?

thanks
jared

Software version 12.00 was just released today. This should fix the channel view bug you are describing.

In all fairness, Todd and others (like those working the Garmin exhibits at boat shows) who work for Garmin are going to be more advanced in their knowledge and the accuracy of their knowledge than the call center reps. Most of the guys at the call center are very helpful. Even though they can be hands on with their demo units there, they aren’t actual users of the equipment like we are. Ultimately, it’s a combination of their training and our real life expertise that should solve your issues. Listen to the call center reps and you’ll know how much to apply in your situation.
