Default Transferring waypoints from EVO2 to Google Earth??

I want to bring my MAC laptop onto the boat and add to Google Earth Pro the waypoints I have on my EVO 2. Can this be done? If so how?

Thank you
Ray

You will need to convert them to a .kmz file, IIRC. GPS Utility can do this, and there are some other programs.

You can save your waypoints and tracks to a GPX file, then you can open the GPX files from Google Earth. No need to convert anything.

I actually did that today.

GPSbabel is available for MacOS and Unix, and has been for a long time. It is really a command-line program with a GUI wrapper.

But, as noted, there is no need to use a conversion program to import geo-position data in .GPX format into GoogleEarth.

GPSBabel is more useful as a way to convert data to .GPX from .KML. as GoogleEarth can only save data in .KML format.
