Default SOLDERING PL259 CONNECTORS

A member here asked me for instructions on soldering these. I found a good PDF and some of you may want to keep it for your own reference.

The technique described is somewhat unorthodox, but you could also bring some braid back on the reducer and solder more surface. The trick described is to first solder the braid to the reducer BEFORE assembling the cconnector. You then screw the main part onto the reducer. not the other way around.

Remember too, rosin-core electrical solder, NOT acid-core plumbers solder.

Good Luck.
