Default Yamaha Command Link guage

I cracked the screen saver of my Yamaha gauge, other than blind searching, is there a THT discount with a vendor I could go to to order a replacement? Here is a pic of the specific gauge.

Thank you

I did speak with them and they aren't sure. They had to pass my information on to a tech who would call me back.

What I have is no different than cracking the screen saver on your iPhone, I need a new screen saver, everything still works fine.

The screen on the Command Link Plus display is neither available nor replaceable. It is an integral part of the device. Time for a new display. Or just live with the display as is.

If you have to replace it, consider replacing it with a Simrad GO7 or 7" EVO screen. Simrad has addedthe full Yamaha software to their screens with the latest firmware release. You will gain a backup MFD and one with a built in GPS if you get the GO7.
Salt and Pepe likes this.

For the cost of a new one, I will let it ride out. Works just fine, just one crack across the screen. I have tried SIM Yamaha and Portside Marine. Both said they had to look into it, neither one of them ever called me back.

Actually, it's a little more complicated than that, he would need to still get a Yamaha Digital Gauge, either a Yamaha CL7 Gauge or a combination of Gateway (6YG-8A2D0-00-00) AND a Yamaha 6Y9 Gauge, in order to get the Yamaha looking graphics that he has on his current gauge. If he gets just the Gateway, then he can connect that to a GO7 but that would only allow the Simrad Gauge screen to work (not the new Yamaha Digital gauge look). But a GO7 and a Gateway is probably cheaper than a new Yamaha Digital gauge, even if it's the same price as a new gauge, like you mentioned at least you'd be getting a back up GPS/Sounder too!
