I don't think WP go onto a Navionics or other mfgr.'s chart card. I believe they get transferred into a chartplotter WP file. Making sure you have them formatted in .GPX data format is usually best as it is nearly universally accepted format for import/export in & from chartplotters.

If your WP file is in a different format not readily compatible with whatever device you are trying to get them into, there are a number of conversion /transfer programs to help with that.

Here's the one I had luck with, going from Northstars to Simrads , and did not have to manipulate anything with any of the WPs ( which were & remained in DDD.MM.mmm position format) , Just a few clicks for novice- me but did have to go from a previously empty CF card to computer file to an MSD card in the converted .GPX data format to get it into the Simrads:
http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ It's free and can convert a large batch at once. (YMMV )

I expect others will chime in as usual.
Best luck.

What TTaxi said. Chartplotters store waypoints and tracks on internal memory, not map cards like Navionics. Get a microSD card, insert into back of Chartplotter, #1 and download all your waypoints to the SD card. If you have the option to choose the format of the file you are about to download your waypoints too, choose .GPX (universal GPS format).

If Chartplotter #1 is the same manufacturer as Chartplotter #2:
Insert the SD card into Chartplotter #2 and upload the waypoints.

If Chartplotter #1 is not the same manufacturer as Chartplotter #2, and you were able to download all your waypoints onto the SD card in .GPX format:
Insert the SD card into Chartplotter #2 and upload the waypoints.

If Chartplotter #1 is not the same manufacturer as Chartplotter #2, and you were not able to download all your waypoints onto the SD card in .GPX format:
You will have to use a file conversion program to convert your SD card file into the .GPX format. TTaxi has listed a resource you can use for this and I have used that resource successfully in the past, there are others as well.

How do I know if my SD card file is in .GPX format?
Insert the SD card on your computer. Open it and look at the filename it contains, look at the suffix after the period, you want it to say .gpx. Example: Waypoints_12_05_2017.gpx.

I've done this many times with lots of numbers across multiple chartplotters from different manufacturers. If the free online conversion tools won't work for you, I wrote my own custom conversion programs I use for managing and converting waypoints - shoot me a PM.
