Default Garmin 4212 reading/displaying diagnostic codes through sc gateway

I am planning on installing a Smartcraft gateway to my system to connect my Garmin 4212 via the NMEA to display engine parameters etc. I currently have 4 sc1000 gauges, 3 tachs and one speedo. I haven't been able to find anything about the MFD displaying diagnostic trouble codes. Anyone know if they will show up on the display?

Interesting. We just did a triple V-350 installation with a Vessel View 7 tied via N2K to a pair of 8617's and a 7612XSV and the 8617's did display fault codes while we were configuring the system, in fact they came up just a second or two before the VV7! They were popping up overlaid on active nav and sonar pages. Don't know if the 7612 displayed any as it was on the tower station.

I don't recall a diagnostic page but I did set it up with the standard engine pages and was able to get all the data, actually easier and more comprehensive than I felt the VV-7 was but I wouldn't want to waste the Garmin screen acreage for engine data with the VV-7 on the helm pod.

While configuring the DTS system there was the occasional alarm fault and they would pop up on both the VV-7 and Garmin screens, had to cancel them on each too. Boat is disassembled for her voyage to her new home but I'll get some screen shots when we put her back together.
