Default Furono Transducer for new build

I am several months away from choosing the gear, but need to get a transducer shipped over seas ASAP in a container that is leaving.

This will be for a 45 foot trawler currently under construction. Very limited fishing just depth, speed, and water temp are needed for cruising up and down the Cal Coast..

I found this unit. 525 Stid msd. A good match for my proposed needs?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.

The website notes this ducer is good for boats up to 30 ft. The LOA is 45 ft. Concerns?

The Furono system builder is telling me to use the 520-5psd. I would prefer not to, because that one is plastic.
