Default Garmin 94sv review tracks/depths

I have a Garmin 94sv. Is it possible to save my tracks with depth info and review it from a computer? I'm wanting to look for drop offs I may have missed during my inshore exploring.

certainly. Save your active track, then copy to the card, import into the free Garmin Homeport program

https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/64242

open the track to see its detail - each breadcrumb / depth
select one that looks interesting and it will display:

Size: 262.1 KB[/url]

right-click on that spot and you can create a waypoint there

Size: 260.1 KB

when you are done, copy the waypoints to the card and import them back into the plotter

Sweet! I have the Garmin Lakevu card. It's ok to write it to that? Also, I assume the leg course is the reading interval. Is it possible to change the intervals?

You can write to the Lakeview card - personally I'm too cheap to take the chance of accidentally corrupting it..

Should be a menu option in your MFD to select time or distance, and the corresponding interval, for breadcrumbs.

It only has 1 microSD card slot. Is the track data saved to that card or internally? If internally, I guess I could pull the LV card, insert a new one and write to it?

your waypoints tracks and routes are automatically saved in the internal memory of the unit.
you copy them to a removable card with the menu

User Data > Manage Data > Data Transfer > Save to Card

its a good idea to do that periodically so you have a backup of your numbers

use a card not larger than 32 gig

Hello:

I just installed this unit on my boat, quick question if I may?

The OP q, could you not use Quickdraw contours mapping? This unit is my first Garmin and quite a but more sophisticated than my previous Lowrance so I'm still trying to figure this all out.

thanks a lot
