Default Vessel view and simrad fuel

I have the simrad NSS evo3 with the mercury vessel view link and am trying to get the fuel level accurate. Do I have fill the tanks and then calibrate in order for it to read the correct fuel level?

There is a update for the Vesselview and I remember that I read somewhere it's related to a problem with the fuel level

Having the same issue on my new boat. Can’t get the EVO3 to see the Vesselview fuel level. That update in the link was well before my engines shipped.

To properly calibrate the fuel tank level, you have to start with a completely empty tank. You will then need to fill in 25% increments while calibrating.

This is assuming that the fuel/paddle harness(es) is/are installed correctly.

My Vessel View was calibrated at Onslow and reads correctly. Are you saying that I need to do the same calibration with the EVO3??
Thanks!
