Default Simrad NSS Evo3 Update – Autopilot – No Depth Control Tracking Option

Just updated with the latest software and I find that the Autopilot option of Depth Control Tracking –DCT- has disappeared as an option under ‘Turns’. Anyone else found this?

My autopilot facility is the AC12 module.

I hope that this feature has not been discontinued because I have come to find it very useful.

It wouldn't have been back unless you had made me aware and I pushed Navico hard to get it back.

Were they wanting to get rid of it? I just sold a Simrad autopilot system yesterday based on the ability to have depth contour tracking.

I couldn't find depth tracking on my Evo2 12's either.

Abbor - do you know if it will be back for those units?

Depth tracking is present in 6.0-58.1.94 for NSS Evo2. I just double checked.

The function has always been present in AP24 and AP44, I have no idea why it disappeared when changing the autopilot control panel. But now it's back

Thank you abbor for pushing for the change. I have a new boat on order and went 100% Simrad and one of the selling points was the depth tracking feature

A little off the topic but does anybody know if Simrad has anything in the works to compete with Furuno's Sabiki mode (i.e. autopilot the boat in reverse)? I am getting ready to purchase a new electronics package and I really like the Simrad stuff, but being able to run the autopilot in reverse would be extremely handy for the type of fishing that I do.
