Default Dual VSR's to house bank

I troll on one engine most of the time and would like to charge my 2 house batteries from both or either engine. I currently have 1 Suzuki aux charge lead and was going to add a second one. However I decided to move the starters to the console during a partial rewire and would rather use VSR's instead of having two aux leads running into the console.

Is it as simple as having a VSR between each starter and the house batteries? I will be having the wiring done professionally but wanted to check here on opinions.

Yes, will work, but will cost far more than an extra 20 feet of charge lead......

Thanks. That's what I thought. I would have to get a second aux charge kit for $100 or so plus wire.

Or use the existing aux charge on port and VSR for starboard maybe? That should work.

you could also connect the 2 aux charge leads together in the rear and bring a single larger cable to the console instead of 2.

I am three years into a setup I did using Yandina ACR's and it has been a flawless system for me...

I have a pair of them attached to each of my Honda's battery connections at the combiner switches and these are paralleled to the new house battery I added. Whether on dock power or either motor running the house battery gets charged.
