Default Help with New electronics for 18’ parker

I’m currently acquiring an 18’ parker. I want to update the electronics. Looking for a fish finder, chart plotter combo. I fish inshore on Long Island mostly common Long Island sound fish, strippers, sea bass, porgies etc.

Would love recommendations, manufacture, make and model and why.

Thanks for the help.

Tight lines...

You can start with the HDS Gen 3 units ....with Structure scan..they will work for your area.
Also..the Garmin units such as the new echoMAP Plus and 94sv or other xs and xsv units.

You could do a go7 from Simrad or the new Garmin Echomap's that are coming would work great. Congrats on the Parker, that 18 is an awesome little boat. You have many options. All good.

ychtcptn i just saw this online. So I'm just a little confused on the transducers that come packaged with the units. The unit that is for black friday, does it come with transducer for all functions on the Unit?

Not sure.
I bought the 94sv a few months ago on a one day sale, and it did.
These units do not have WiFi, so the new ActiveCaptain app won’t work wirelessly.

ActiveCaptain Community – See what others are saying with access to up-to-date-feedback from the boating community feedback on marinas, reported hazards and other POIs in the area.

Planning – Make, save and transfer routes and waypoints between the app and the chartplotter with zero button presses.

Mobile Quickdraw Community – Easily upload and download of the latest community-made Quickdraw Contours chart and map content.
