Default Connect 1222 or 1242xsv to 7610 xsv

Hi,

Trying to decide between 1222 or 1242 xsv to add to my existing 7410 xsv. Would like to be able to use larger display for nav and radar. Currently have GT 51M sonar, , 2524 XHD2 radar and 9 axis heading sensor connected to 7410 xsv.

If I go with 1222, will it display radar that's connected to the 7410 if I use garmin network and N2K cable to connect them?

Also, if I did want to display sonar on the 1222, will that work also or would I need to have the 1242 xsv instead of the 1222?

Thanks

I take it that you're located out of the United States? As those units do not have the built-in blue charts.

Hi Brian,

I have a garmin G2 card in the 7410. Will that map data also transfer over to a 1222 once connected to the 7410?

Thanks

Yes it will, for the minimal cost I do suggest the 1242 as when you go to sell it down the line it will be much easier to sell.
