Default SIMRAD Recomendations

I have a Simrad NSS 12 evo 2 and a NSS 9 evo 2 Looking for recommendations on how would you hook up the following to get the best use out of them.

Simrad 3d with module and transducer
Simrad Total Scan transducer
Airmar B75c thru hull transducer

I mainly fish wreck and reef sites

Thanks in advance
Charles

Which model B75c did you purchase? Also what kind of a boat is this going to be installed on?

I would recommend putting the B75H on the flat spot on the centerline in front of your transom. Depending on the year of your Parker a lot of those models have the flat pad in the back which is ideal for mounting your through hull. Just make sure you get a 0 degree tilt if you can mount it there. For the structurescan 3D and the totalscan I would probably just recommend installing the 3D Structurescan transducer and not the totalscan. The 3D transducer will have better range and resolution than the totalscan and the B75H will give much better Chirp results. I really don't see to much of a benefit installing the totalscan. If anything I would add a B150M or B75M before the totalscan in addition to the other two transducers.

If you want to run a second CHIRP at the same time as the B75H the B150M will not work to well because the frequencies overlap unless you run one of them in fixed frequency mode. Go for the B75M instead

I did forget to mention that. I use the B150M on a fixed frequency pretty much 100% of the time as I think it has better images on the fixed frequencies than set to Medium Chirp. B75M should not overlap on Medium Chirp.

I don't see any reason to add another CHIRP transducer unless you fish deeper than what B75H is capable of, and then it's B175M which should be added.

agreed. stick with B75 and SS3D. nothing else needed.
