Default waypoints/go9

I have a new to me go9.
Is there a quick and simple way to mark a waypoint while running?
My old unit you just hit the waypoint button.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Go to the pull down menu on the right and I think it is the second block. Just be sure you are not panning or it will mark where the crosshair is.

If you are reffering to marking something you ran over and saw on the bottom machine part, then yes. You can just tough the screen where the bump/structure was, a little crosshair will appear on the screen, adjust it to where you want it, and a tool bar will open up on the right side of the screen and there should be a box that says create waypoint. Once you are done the waypoint will be stored in the unit. You can also name it, or type in a little note while setting it up.
