Default Another question for tabman

Ok, so I got a Sea Pro 219 deep v. Boat did not come with tabs and Im looking to add them. Factory Sea Pros come with Lenco limited space tabs which measure 4"x12". I want the Bennett Bolt tabs 12"x12" with the auto trim pro. Problem is with my ladder, I will have to mount the Bennett tabs a good 18" to 20" from the chine to clear the ladder when its down. Whereas the Lencos will fit right behind it. Will the 12"x12" mounted that far inboard still give me good performance? Thoughts, anyone?

We make a 12x4 BOLT Tab that should fit fight behind the ladder.

Part number BOLT124

Size: 61.0 KBBOLT124

That's what I would install.

Tom, how the 12x4 will perform compare to 12x9 or 12x12 on a 19" boat (2000 Proline 19 Sport)?
I'm looking at adding the Bolt tabs, but don't want to sacrifice performance due to the ladder hitting the tabs.
I'm willing to look at alternatives for the ladder, if performance with such small tab is at stake.
Thanks in advance.
