I have a transom mounted transducer on the trailing edge of the V bottom. I had contemplated adding a thru hull but the foam makes it more difficult. I have a Raymarine L760 and it seems to work pretty well. Have you taken delivery of your boat yet?? The factory may be able to accomodate you thru hull.

I have an outrage 28 (same hull) and the dealer mounted the transducer on the transom.

The 255 I ordered has a place in the bilge called a 'putty box' non-cored/non foam area to mount a transducer. Should also be in the other conquests.

WOW this sounds too good to be true. Nothing on web site re quality of ducer or elements etc. but the comcept sounds great especially for deep V hulls. D2
