Has anyone tried this stereo yet? We have a 19ft boat and don't want to cut any holes in the console since it is a classic. Would just mount puck on top of console. All our music is on a USB drive... or Pandora BT.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated !!

Kind of worried that it would be in close proximity of compass...

I see you are getting no replies here. I have had my hands on one and heard it. It is a quality piece. But I have not used one outside on a boat. If nothing else, here is a bump.

Ok bought one there Amazon who says I have 30 days to return for a full refund and they pay shipping... Will post here my comments. I realize most folks are not interested in a small portable system but I plan to put mounts on the boat, paddle board and golf cart so I can have tunes on all.

Like most Fusion stuff seems way overpriced for what it is. (Yes, I have a Fusion unit.)

I was wanting tunes on our paddle board. Then we have a boat and a LSV that need tunes. That equates to serious outlay $$. At $300 if this works and covers all of them I will save considerably.

Thanks,

M

We we really like the little speaker. High fidelity but not loud enough to hear well when boat is cruising. The truth behold we never listen to music while running boat anyway. Wife immediately figured out it work fantastic in the spa. So instead of stereo in the cart, spa, on boat and more we have one to use in many places saving us a bundle !! Speaker is ~ $300.

I will say it again, it is very high fidelity, but don't expect it to be a replacement for a huge boat stereo...
