Default Help Connecting existing GPS to existing NEMA 2000

I'm going to attempt to make this as clear as possible with out being to wordy . I currently have a Garmin 7610 xsv which is connected to a GMR 18 HD and a FLIR night vision video. I also have a 2007 Suzuki DF 300 which is connected to 2 SMIS NEMA 2000 gauges. I would like to tie in my Garmin into the existing NEMA so that my GPS can read my motor NEMA information.

What exactly do I need to do in order to complete this? Do I only need to run a Nema 2000 connection to the exiting backbone or is it more involved than that. Currently they are both functioning but independently. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah as long as your chartplotter and engine are hooked up to the same NMEA backbone then you are all set.

My (2) SMIS gauges are reading data from my engines currently. I would just like everything to also be linked on my GPS also.

Simple.

Just get an extra T piece, insert it between two existing T's, and run a drop cable between it and your Garmin display. No setting up to do.
