Default Naviocnics chips "off"

I have 2 different chips for up here in Kodiak, both different versions and I don't remember which numbers off the top of my head, problem is this.... In normal mode they are pretty accurate,, go to a spot, sat it says a high spot of 40', and it's 40 foot right on that number. put the chart in bathomeytric mode and it shows that 40' spot is over 1/4 mile from where I am. Both chips do this. Is there a way to sync them up? They are useless to me for bath mode which is what I wanted them for.

If they have Sonar Live function, you might start recording at the spots you are interested in , upload the recorded Sonar Live data on the Navionics Freshest Data update site then download the updated sonar chart to your chart chip. It won't correct without going through the Navionics update website.

I haven't tried Sonar Live recording , but I believe you can choose whether those corrections are kept private for you only or are shared with other Navionics users ( as Community Edits?).

Not quite what you were hoping for, but could be more accurate in the long run this way.

I agree with taking advantage of using the Sonar Chart Live feature. Also, and I don't know if you have done this yet, make sure to update your charts online and get the most up to date data.
