Default Favorite setting on the simrad echosounder?

I am currently running the go9 with the totalscan transducer. What is your favorite palette and setting to get the best picture of the bottom? I have only been out twice since the install of the ducer and think I have it set up pretty well. Im still trying to tell between hard and sandy bottom for sure.

I have watched some youtube videos but all the different color options and setting make it fun to dial in without having much extra time to go and play with it. I tried to do some of that last weekend but the kids took up more of my time. They actually enjoyed looking for fish on the screen than anything else.

Also, I have yet to see anything worth while with the structure scan. Especially the side scan. Same went for my garmin that I was previously using as well.
