Default GO7 firmware update issue

When I fired up the GO7 yesterday, I got a message saying there were updates for both it and the Link-8. Pressed the "download" button and the Link 8 update (from 2.87 to 2.91) installed without an issue. However.....the GO7 update keeps saying "Download Error" when I try to install it. Anyone else run into this issue?

How did you update it? Wifi or SD card?

DL the update to a SD card and update it that way. If you are on an open wifi, it may have become corrupted during the DL.

My wifi is secure. And it took the download for the Link 8 without issue.

My unit is flush mounted in an acrylic panel. I'd prefer not to have to disassemble the panel to get to the slot to swap SD cards to install the update if possible. Shouldn't be any reason why one download (the Link 8) went fine but the other one went "ERROR"....?

I had the same issue, tried several times with no luck. Which was surprising because last time there was an update, had no issues at all.

I ended up downloading it to my PC copied to micro SD card and loaded it that way. Went smoothly.
