Default Syncing remaining fuel on two Garmin plotters...?

I have a 942xs and a 740xs.
Both are connected to a working N2K network.
When I add fuel, I add the gallons on the 740xs... the 942xs will now show the new
total (with the added fuel). After I shut off the boat and start it up again, 942xs "forgot" about the added fuel, while the 740xs will show the correct amount.
Is there a sync command that I'm missing on one or both of the units?

Likely to be an issue with different data sources.

On the 942, check the data source for fuel remaining and set it to the same source as the 740.
