Default GPS that is compatible with existing transducer

I am purchasing a boat with a Furnuno GP-1850DF, everything works but the screen is glazed or faded so I need to update it, I'd prefer not to change out the ducer if possible, anyone know what newer models would be compatible?

I don't know the model transducer but it was a through hull flush mount diamond shape (not round)

If you stay with a Furuno you can upgrade and still use your current transducer...yes.

You can even adapt the plug of your current ducer so you can use it on other models...such as Garmin used with the 8 pin wire block adapter.
