Default B164 Transducer

I have 2 NSS Evo 2 units that are appx. 2 years old. I was under the impression I had a 1K transducer but found out I have a b60. I am happy with the performance in general but I do like to get out deep. After 400 or so feet it does not seem to work well. Had I gotten the upgrade originally a B164 would have been installed.
Will I see a noticeable difference with the b164 to justify the expense? I could pickup bottom now in 6 to 800' but barely. Any thoughts? Maybe a B175?

A B175 is the same footprint as the B164, but the 175 will give you the ability to use the Chirp technology built into the Evo2 units. For the best depth readings the B175L would get you the deepest, but will have a wider angle cone than a B175M or B175H. The B175M is more of a generic fit that will work well for a wider variety of fishing styles, but depending on how and where you fish there may be a better option available.
