Gateway cable for command link plus

Default Gateway cable for command link plus

Does anyone know exactly which cable I need to connect my command link plus to nmea 2000 to get info to and from my simrad go 9. Thanks.

Not unless you provide a bit more information.

Exactly what Yamaha gauge(s) do you have now?

when you look at the current gauge wiring - do you have a "hub" :



if you have a hub - very important - does one of the "DEVICE" ports have just a cap on it? (with no wires)

and finally - do you already have a NMEA 2000 backbone with the Simrad or other devices on it??

Thanks for your help.

New motor and gauges in 2012
It's the command link plus with the small computer looking screen

Yes it has a hub

Yes one has a cap with no wires

Yes I have a backbone with other devices on it

ok, so you'll need;
- a Yamaha Gateway
- a Yamaha "pigtail bus wire" to connect the Gateway to that open Device port
- a length of NMEA cable to connect the Gateway to your N2K backbone
- an open Tee on your N2K backbone
