Default Speakers on back of T-top

I've got a 36 foot CC with two speakers in front bow panel and two more in the side panels on either side of control station with amp inside CC. When we make long runs it's hard to hear anything when on the bean bags in the back. I was thinking about mounting a pair of speakers on the back underside of the T-top primarily for hearing music in the back on long runs..............but also when we go to the sand bar I could hear the music better when on the beach as current speakers are all under gunwale.

I'm primarily curious how well you can hear them when running and sitting on the bean bags?? But any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks - Dan

Any/all flushmount speakers that are below the gunwale cap will not project away from the boat. In fact, using interior speakers for this function usual ends in a product failure. For projection away from the boat you need dedicated, directional speakers, separate power, and independent zone control. This is precisely what Wetsounds HLCD (horn loaded compression driver) speakers are designed to do. Once you have a speaker that projects off the transom for distance, reaching occupants behind the helm when underway is easy. You can also add a swivel mount if you would on occasion need to flood a broader area with a little less intensity.
